III. PROCESS OF IMPORTED FUNCTIONAL FOODS PROCLAMATION
Functional foods proclamation is the first and most important legal procedure in the procedures to be carried out for the business of imported functional foods.

3.1. Issuing agency: Food Safety Administration – Ministry of Health
3.2. Time limit for completing the procedures: 50 – 60 working days
3.3. Customer’s documents:

| 3 | Good Manufacturing Practices Certificate (GMP) => CITYLAW will send standard samples of exporting countries for customers to prepare
| – A certificate of establishment meeting food safety requirements that meet Good Manufacturing Practices – The certificate must be issued by a competent authority of the exporting country – The GMP must not be consular legalized |

| 5 | Product Testing Paper | – The product testing paper must be conducted within 12 months |

– Decree No.15/2018 ND-CP of the Government on elaboration of some articles of the Law on Food Safety
– Circular No.43/2014/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health regulating the management of functional foods.
– Circular No.149/2013/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance regulation on rate of collection, remittance, management and use of fees and charges of food hygiene and safety.
